GNSO Morning Policy Briefing

The GNSO Policy Support Team welcomes all ICANN65 attendees, especially newcomers, to participate in this GNSO Policy Morning Briefing. As the first GNSO session of ICANN65, the GNSO Policy Morning Briefing aims to enhance participants’ understanding of why GNSO policy development is important and help them effectively prepare for the GNSO sessions scheduled throughout the week. In an interactive setting, participants will have ample opportunity to ask the GNSO Policy Support Team questions, engage in candid discussions, and network/connect amongst themselves. The GNSO Policy Support Team hopes the GNSO Policy Morning Briefing will serve as a starting point for motivated participants to engage in the GNSO policy work during and beyond ICANN65. Who should participate? • ICANN newcomers who are interested in following and getting involved in GNSO policy activities • ICANN65 attendees interested in learning “what to expect” during the GNSO sessions in Marrakech What to expect? • Brief presentations from GNSO Policy Support Team about ongoing GNSO Policy Development Processes (PDPs) and other policy work that is expected to be addressed during ICANN65 • Interactive session (e.g., breakout, Q&A) to facilitate candid, in-depth discussions • Participants are encouraged to ask questions about the ongoing GNSO PDPs, the GNSO Council, and beyond.
